White Sox Weekend

We spent the weekend down at The Cell. On Saturday it rained on and off and then Sunday it was a surprisingly nice day. We saw a few home runs, one win and one loss.

Wearing our cool yellow ponchos from our trip to New York with Jane.
Wearing a new shirt that actually fits the growing belly!

Roger's Birthday

Roger's 26th birthday in Wisconsin!

Home

Over Memorial Day weekend Meredith was in town for her sister's baby shower and we were able to see each other for the first time in a long time.

Can you guess who is farther along??

Wearing our favorite pants!!!

Doctor Time

While Roger was in Canada my Dad came down for the day to go with me to the doctor. I can hardly believe that it is 24 and a half weeks already. The baby's heartbeat was loud and very easy to find! Only 14 weeks left!

Shower Number 2

On the last day of school the teachers had a baby shower for us. It was a great way to end the school year and we received many many nice things.

Shower

On the Monday after Mother's Day my class had a surprise shower for me. They were each asked to predict if the baby would be a boy or a girl and then they also guessed how big my belly was by the length of a string. Since there are more girls than boys in the class a baby girl was the winner and surprisingly two of the children's strings were exactly the size of my belly around. Some of them were definitely how big I will be and how small I hope I will some day be after the baby is here:) They all did so much and with the gift card they gave me we were able to purchase our glider and ottoman.

Mother's Day

Mom and Dad came down to celebrate my first Mother's Day with us!

White Sox!

Heading to the White Sox game at 22 and a half weeks!!!

The Crib!!

We ordered the baby's crib and dresser on Sunday April 26th. We were told that it would take 4-5 weeks for it to come in. On Saturday May 2nd the store called and said our order was in. Yes that was 7 days not 4-5 weeks!!! We had no idea what to expect so we drove over to pick it up. The crib was in a giant box that would not fit in the car. The guys at the store helped Roger put it up on the car and then gave him a box of twine and a scissors. So he tied it on, put the dresser in the back and we were on our way slowly home. When we got home Roger asked a neighbor to help him get the boxes in the garage. Now, what do you do with a crib in a box in the garage? You bring it inside and set it up in the living room. This is where the crib sat for a week until my parents came down for Mother's Day and helped us move all the furniture!

Roger's Graduation

After a lot of time and hard work Roger graduated from Concordia with a Masters Degree in teaching. It was a wonderful day full of excitement and accomplishments!!

The Baby Moves!!!

On Saturday April 18th while crying my eyes out watching Marley and Me I felt the baby move for the first time! At least that is what I thought it was. Sure enough that following Wednesday the 22nd I felt it again and this time I was sure! After waiting 19 and a half weeks it was one of the best days of my life!!
